Problem Note 53230: "ERROR: An exception has been encountered" occurs when you optimize a scenario in SAS® Marketing Optimization
When you optimize a scenario with the default value of min_contact_policies_are_soft = 0, the scenario might fail with the following exception:
MO Proc
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
This problem occurs if your scenario is set up inadvertently to suppress all eligible offers. This should not cause a crash but rather give you a warning.
You can work around this problem by changing the value for min_contact_policies_are_soft to 1.
If you encounter this error, contact SAS Technical Support and provide the following traceback information:
